National Scholarship Links

Each award is intended to cover a significant share of the student’s educational experience – including tuition, living expenses, books and required fees. Awards vary by individual, based on the cost of tuition as well as other grants or scholarships they may receive.

Chairish is committed to helping college students achieve their dreams. If you are overcoming obstacles to earn a college degree, we want to hear from you! Students from all majors are encouraged to apply, but preference will be given to applicants pursuing design and engineering-related fields. Our Design Your Future scholarship is open to high school seniors of any major.

State scholarships are awarded to eligible students in all fifty states and the District of Columbia. The program specifically assists high school students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives. The scholarships are funded by Horatio Alger Members who, like the Scholars, have experienced challenges but ultimately overcame them to become successful business and civic leaders.

Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need and do NOT need to be related to a member of the Elks.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 32nd class in 2020, the Foundation has provided over 6,300 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $72 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.

Start building your college list!  The College Board has launched a new scholarship program with $5 million of scholarships each year, beginning with the class of 2020.  

More than 4,000 talented young minority high school students apply to become JRF Scholars and carry on the civic-minded legacy of JRF’s namesake, Jackie Robinson.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) Scholar Program is designed to empower courageous young leaders of Hispanic heritage. The program helps ensure students achieve their higher education and career goals.  Scholarship awards are based on merit; amounts range from $500 to $5,000, based on relative need, among the Scholars selected.

Ruiz 4 Kids awards hundreds of thousands of dollars of scholarships to graduating high school seniors and community college transfer students every year. Many past recipients speak from their hearts when they share their stories about the important role that a Ruiz 4 Kids scholarship played in helping them transform their dream of attending college into a reality.

A merit scholarship is a financial award that students receive based on their academic success in high school. Merit-based scholarships are not only limited to a student’s grades, but also consider factors such as leadership roles, ACT and/or SAT scores, extracurricular activities and school or community involvement. Unlike need-based financial aid, merit scholarships do not take into account Expected Family Contribution (EFC).
