Jakob Spiller - Valedictorian
Jakob Christian Spiller is the son of Jeff and Jonna Spiller of Gober, Texas. Jake has two brothers, Nik and Luke. Jake’s grandparents are CQ and Linda Spiller of Bonham and Happy and Joetta Wallace of Gober. Jake plans to attend Texas A&M-Commerce and pursue a bachelor’s degree in mathematics with plans to achieve a career in actuarial science. Jake is a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. Jake is the treasurer of the National Honor Society as well as senior class treasurer. He participates in varsity baseball as a pitcher and outfielder where he received 10-3A Academic All-District, Defensive Player of the Year, and Newcomer of the Year. Jake is also a member of the Robotics, UIL Science, UIL Math, and UIL Computer Science teams. He has been selected as Class Favorite as a freshman, sophomore, and junior. Jake was also a member of the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committee and received BHS Student of the Month for September. He has been a Texas Scholar and has received the Academic Excellence award for each year of high school.
Randolph Arris, Jr. - Salutatorian
Randolph Arris, Jr. is the son of Randolph and LaTonia Arris, and brother of Joseph and Robert Arris. In school, he was a member of the Student Council, Class Council, Key Club, National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Student Advisory Council, and Texas Scholars. Outside of school, Randy was active within the 4-H program. He served as Texas 4-H Council First Vice President, District IV 4-H Secretary and Second Vice President, Fannin County 4-H First Vice President, and numerous Club Offices. He also served as a Texas 4-H STEM Ambassador and received the Gold Star Award for involvement within the community service and leadership projects. Randy's proudest achievement is acquiring over 1000 community service hours throughout his High School career. Randy plans to attend Texas A&M University in the fall with a major in physics and minor in math. After college, Randy’s goal is to attend medical school and become a practicing surgeon where he plans to work at a VA hospital and give back to the veteran population.
Olivia Foster - 3rd High
Olivia Foster is the daughter of Charles and Tracy Foster. She has been a member of the BHS Varsity cheer team for 4 years. Olivia participated in Varsity tennis and soccer as well as powerlifting. She was a two-time Regional Qualifier for powerlifting. She is the President of Spanish National Honor Society, a 3 time President of FCA, Head cheerleader, the Vice President of the Pep Club, and a former FFA officer. She is a member of the student council, National Honor Society, Key Club, Principal’s Advisory Committee, and a Texas Scholar. She will attend Texas A&M University in the fall where she will major in Allied Health and pursue a career in nursing.
