High School Teacher
I graduated from Leonard High School in 2009
Later in 2020 I graduated from the University of North Texas
Bachelor’s degree in History and magna cum laude
I have attended the World History Association conference in 2022
I started teaching in 2022 and Bonham High School is the first school I have ever taught at.
I am currently teaching world geography and world history.
Before teaching I was a soldier in the United States Army. Where I was a radio operator and maintainer. I had the responsibility of also helping to instruct other soldiers on radio equipment, that is really where I first began to think I might like teaching.
I am not married, however, my girlfriend and I are in a committed relationship. My girlfriend has a daughter and I help rearing her. My step daughter goes to Commerce middle school. We have 6 cats to round out our little family.
I love to read, and one can usually find me on the weekends at least a couple of hours reading a history book or something else that may have piqued my curiousity. I also like to work leather, I make belts and archery bracers. In fact I also have a bow and my family and I shoot archery as a nice family hobby. I am also interested in blacksmithing and I am in the process of making a forge. I like to workout particularly weight training, although it is not unheard of for me to spend some time on the cardio machines. Plus I do enjoy playing with my cats, if you imagine a lion tamer then you are not to far off.
