A message from our Athletic Director
Thank you for taking the time to explore our athletic news letter. I cannot find the words to express the joy that I have found serving as the Athletic Director for Bonham ISD. Wins and losses are not the driving force of Bonham Athletics. Our mission is to provide a broad-based athletic program that fosters the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of a diverse and skilled group of student-athletes. Junior High and High School athletics are an important part of the heritage and vitality of the Bonham community. Bonham ISD Athletics help to provide an opportunity for scholars, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to share experiences, and by doing so, enhance the cohesiveness of community life.
Sincerely,
Dr. Harold Colson
CONGRATULATIONS

Lady Indians District Track Meet
April 1, 2019 the 7th and 8th grade girls track teams competed in the District track meet in Van Alstyne. They all worked hard and did a great job. Overall the 7th grade girls finished 6th and the 8th grade finished 3rd. We saw a big improvement not only in the races themselves, but in each girls’ mental toughness and competitiveness.
The 8th grade girls are District Champs in the 4x200 relay! It was a really close, photo finish, in the 4x100 with our girls coming out 2nd by 2 hundredths of a second. They got 4th in the 4x400. The seventh grade raced their best time and finished in the top 6 in all three relays.
We, as coaches, want to thank these Lady Indian Athletes for their dedication and their parents for the support given to these young ladies. It has been a joy coaching them this year!
