I received my Cosmtoloegy Instructor’s license in 2011 and this is my fourth year teaching at Bonham High School. I LOVE sharing my real life, behind the chair experiences with the Cosmetology students. I look forward to another year teaching them the skills needed for their success in the hair and beauty industry.
I’ve been a licensed Cosemtolgist for 15 years, owning and managing a salon for 10 of those years. I opened Hair To Stay Salon in Honey Grove in 2007, offering hair, nail, waxing and tanning service to customers. Now, under new ownership and known as Salon L, the busniess is still thriving and offering an array of services to the community.
I’ve been married to my husband Kevin for 10 years. He retired in August 2017 from the Department of Public Safety, after 30 years as a State Trooper and is now the Chief of Police at Honey Grove ISD. Together, we have five children Corey, Ashley, Chesney, Mayson and Caycee. A son-n-law Keegan and daughter-in-law Alex. Four granddaughters Rogan, Ryker, Annalee and Raelynn. As well as four bonus grandchildren MJ, Jarod, Carolyn and Avery. To say I am blessed is an understatement!
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and taking trips.
